Donation Information:
- We collect aluminum cans (if a magnet sticks to it,
it's not aluminum and we can't use it) for recycling. There are two locations where you can drop off your cans. - Printer and toner cartridge recycling (except Epson brand ) AND digital cell phones. We send in for recycling your used cartridges that have not been previously refilled and digital (please make sure they are digital!) cell phones.
- Things like stainless steel non-tippable dog and cat bowls, travel crates, toys for dogs and cats, treats for dogs and cats, collars, harnesses and leashes are always needed. Dogs love to play with used footballs and soccer balls. The more worn the better.We feed our dogs and cats exclusively Science Diet food. We will happily accept unopened pet food, which we will distribute to needy pet owners in our county.
- Monetary donations are of course always welcome and much needed! We will honor your donation if you would like to dedicate it to a specific program, project, or animal(s). - SNIP Your Pet ( Spay Neuter Incentive Program)
- We are offering financial assistance to limited income households in Johnson County to spay / neuter their cat or dog. This program is a neighbor helping neighbor to control the pet over-population, and is dependent upon donations for the funds to provide assistance. Donate $25 or more and get an engraved pet ID tag. Donate $100 or more and get a free micro chip implant for your pet and a pet ID tag. Donations are tax deductible! Make your check payable to Johnson County Humane Society-put in memo-SNIP and mail to: P.O. Box 307 , Mountain City, TN 37683.
